What do you charge for counselling?

The initial assessment appointment is £20 for individuals, and £25 for couples.

My hourly sessions are charged at £45.00 for an individual, and £55 per couple for 1.5 hours. As a firm believer in counselling being accessible to all, I do offer concessions in certain circumstances.

How long will it take?

We can arrange to meet on a open ended basis or alternatively, for an agreed period of time or number of sessions.

Some people are ready to end after only a few sessions, whereas some choose to spend a longer time in counselling.

Does counselling work?

There is a raft of evidence that supports the successful outcomes of counselling. If you would like further, detailed information you can find it from such places as Exeter University and the BACP, who carry out research and studies on the topic. I will happily help you to find it if required.

The relationship between the counsellor and their client is paramount. If you do not feel that we can develop an open, honest and comfortable relationship, I will not be offended should you decide another counsellor to be a better fit.
